THE FEDERATION OF RENTAL HOUSING PROVIDERS OF ONTARIO
The Fair Rental Housing Providers of Ontario represents and protects the interests of private sector rental housing providers through the promotion of fair provincial rental housing policies in Ontario.
FRPO works actively with politicians, the media and opinion leaders to present the industry’s side inpolicy debates.
THE LANDLORD AND TENANT BOARD
The Landlord and Tenant Board has been established to resolve disputes between landlords and tenants and provide information about the Residential Tenancy Act.
It provides information to landlords and tenants concerning their rights and obligations under the Act. Fees are set for applying to the Board. Requests can be made to review an order under certain conditions.
LANDLORD’S SELF-HELP CENTRE
Landlord’s Self-Help Centre is a non-profit community legal clinic serving Ontario’s small-scale landlords exclusively.
The Centre provides information, advice and referrals. Printed materials and outreach programs aimed at helping landlords better understand their rights and responsibilities are also provided.
This site offers information on a variety of topics related to residential rental relationships in Ontario and is geared toward the needs of small-scale landlords.

The CFAA/FCAPI was formed in 1995 to develop national responses for national issues facing our member organizations. No other organization in Canada represents the interests of owners and managers of residential rental property across the country.
